Jupiter Energy is always considering new or improved oil production operations. A workover to maximise flow rates at well J-51 is planned in the near future to increase our output, while a number of drilling options along the length of the Licence Area are currently being examined.
We hope to continue our success in oil exploration. The existing Triassic 2B formation has oil trapping potential well beyond Jupiter Energy’s current drilling operations. Located northwest and updip from the Akkar fields is a potential stratigraphic trap which could double the oil found in our existing Akkar wells.
Meanwhile, seismic traps exist southeast of West Zhetybai that could significantly expand the known field. In addition, a few wells from our team have encountered oil pay on logs and limited testing in zones above the Triassic 2B. This potential will require further evaluation and assessment.
We look forward to continuing our exploration works in these highly prospective sites.
